OUR COMMUNITY

A few ways we serve our community

  • We offer a free food bank every week and we feed about 1100 families each month. We can do this because of our collaboration with the organizations called Feeding America (Elizabeth-town KY) and Feed the Children (Oklahoma City OK). To continue feeding our community we also depend on your generous donations.

  • We tutor approximately 50-75 students each week that are needing to strengthen their educational skills.

  • We have a computer lab that is open to the public.

  • We provide youth center events that are fun as well as safe. Often throughout the year have dances, concerts, fashion shows and pageants for our young people.

  • We conduct job training seminars and job fairs to assist the people of our community in their employment situations.

  • We offer a cooling assistance program in the summer by providing air conditioners and fans for the elderly and  low income families. We are able to do this each year because of the donations from Dollar General, Wal-Mart, local churches, and citizens.

  • We believe in giving back so we have a Christmas program that assist families in need within the community that cannot afford to buy Christmas for their children.

  • We have a clothing ministry that offers men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing as well as household goods.

  • We have an outreach program called "Breaking The Cycle" in which we deal with real life issues that many people fall victim to such as teen pregnancy, bullying, drug abuse, suicide, peer pressure, poverty etc. Our hope is to help the youth before they become victims.

  • We have done mentoring programs to lead the youth of our city in a positive direction.

  • Our facility has been used for several organizations in the community to do receptions, meetings, parties and even has been used for Sunday worship for churches in transition.
